A monsoon climate is the climate of monsoon-dominated areas, which cover an extensive part of the Earth. Due to the differences in sea-land thermodynamics and pressure that vary with the season, the prevailing wind changes direction. In the summer, this climate is affected by the warm and moist air from the ocean, which brings hot and rainy weather. In the winter, it is affected by dry cold air from the continent, which makes the weather cold and dry.
