Mixed Coniferous-Deciduous Forest

This is a type of zonal forest vegetation in temperate and humid climate regions that consists of a mixture of evergreen coniferous and deciduous broadleaf species, such as Korean pine, Mongolian oak, tilia and ash. These forests are mainly located at Changbai Mountain, Zhangguangcailing and Xiaoxing’anling. They are extensively spread over the moderate to low mountains and hills between 40 and 60° N.
