Land use planning of tourism areas involves developing plans for land use in tourism areas. It aims at providing reasonable planning and layouts for tourism infrastructure, service facilities, project development, transportation, environmental protection, residents, agriculture, forest lands, grasslands, water areas and retained lands to ensure the development of tourism, the reasonable coordination between urban and rural development and other purposes in tourism areas. It is a forward-looking plan for land use. It includes comprehensive technical and economic measures to allocate land resources and rationally organize land use in time and space based on the regional social and economic development and natural history.
