This geopark became a national geopark in 2004. It is located in Jingyu County, Baishan City in Jilin. It has three major scenic attractions: the Longgang volcano cluster, mineral springs and the primitive ecology. Longgang contains 72 volcanic cones of different sizes and shapes distributed across a 20 to 100 km long basalt lava platform. Other volcanic features include well-preserved lava flows, volcanic cones, craters, maar lakes and large well-preserved dammed lakes. There are 18 mineral springs in the northeastern part of the geopark, which have a daily water output volume of 150,000 t.
