Jiangyou National Geopark is located northwest of Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province. In August 2005, it was approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources as one of the fourth group of national geoparks. It is consists of four scenic areas, namely, Doutuan Mountain, Buddha Cave, Guanwu Mountain and Wujiahoushan Mountain. The peak of Tuandou Mountain is surrounded by three mountains, namely, Shenfu Mountain, Feixian Mountain and Wenyue Mountain. The distance between the three mountains ranges from 13 to 45 m, and the relative height between the peaks is 53 m. Iron cables link the three mountains. Danxia geomorphologic landscapes can be observed in the geopark, including stone pillars, stone doors, stone walls, isolated peaks, and camelbacks. Guanwu Mountain, Wujiahoushan Mountain and Buddha Cave have landscapes such as peak clusters, depressions, karst dolines, tiankengs, clints, karsts and gorges.
