Iron Spring

This is a spring where the content of iron cations (Fe2++Fe3+) is greater than 10 mg/L. The anions are mainly sulphate or bicarbonate ions. When the ions combine, a hot spring with ferrous sulphate, ferric sulphate or ferric carbonate can form.
