This is a landscape with empty cavities in a modern glacier. An ice cavern is a product of ice ablation inside an ice body. Water on the ice surface can flow into the glacier along crevasses and cause internal ice ablation, which can form many glacial karst features, such as glacial funnels, glacial wells, glacial tunnels, glacial caverns and glacial windows (Fig. 3).
