This geopark is located in northwestern Guzhang County, Hunan Province. It became a national geopark in 2005. The main attractions are stone forests, gorges, caves, lakes and waterfalls that were formed in the Ordovician red carbonate rocks. The geopark has several scenic districts, namely, the Red Stone Forest karst landscape, Zuolong Stream Valley, and the Qifeng Lake Youshui River water landscape.
