Psychological method as applied to Hinduism and other Indian religious traditions is a method of philosophic inquiry into the actual nature of religious experience from the adhyātma perspective.
Psychological Method as an application of Adhyātma Perspective
Psychological method (PsM) is a method of philosophical inquiry into the actual nature of experience. As a method it puts any problem into the context of individual experience and aims at forming models, schemas, and presentations that have individual experiencing as their integral part that provides unity, synthesis, and meaning. It is closely related to phenomenological method, although it differs from it in pursuing particular experiences, while the phenomenological method operates with the types of experiences.
