Definition
In the field of ultrasonography, ultrasound morphology of longevous persons is a method of creating an image of internal body structures such as organs, muscles, joints, tendons, and blood vessels by performing nondestructive measurement (gauging) for the longevous persons. Its aim is often to determine the ultrasound parameters with normal range, to find a source of a disease, or to exclude pathology among this population (Aladin et al. 2011).
Overview
Ultrasonography is an essential part of the clinical practice, and its development has largely broadened the clinical options. High-quality resolution ultrasound devices can serve as the first diagnostic tool, and the figure may sometimes provide the final diagnosis. However, few studies have provided the measurements of ultrasonographic morphologies of the longevous persons.
