Description

The Conners Continuous Auditory Test of Attention (Conners CATA TM) assesses auditory processing and attention-related problems in individuals 8 years of age and older. The 14-min test consists of 200 trials divided into four blocks of 50 trials each. The test provides specific information about the type of auditory attention deficits (e.g., inattentiveness, impulsivity, and sustained attention) and information about auditory processing, including laterality (i.e., relative effectiveness/efficiency in processing left- or right-ear targets) and mobility (i.e., the ability to shift attention from one ear to another) (see Table 1 below).
