EOWPVT/ROWPVT
Description
The Expressive One-Word Picture Vocabulary Test–4 (EOWPVT-4) and the Receptive One-Word Picture Vocabulary Test-4 (ROWPVT-4) are the latest (Martin & Brownell, 2010/2011) versions of popular instruments designed to evaluate a person’s knowledge of English-speaking vocabulary. The tests are norm-referenced and designed to be used with individuals between the ages of 2 years, 0 months to 80+ years. The EOWPVT-4 and ROWPVT-4 are co-normed to allow for more comprehensive assessment of vocabulary breadth and to facilitate comparison of expressive and receptive vocabulary skills. Both tests also have Spanish-bilingual versions (EOWPVT-4:SBE and ROWPVT-4:SBE) (Martin, 2013a, b) which can be administered in Spanish, English, or a combination of both languages.
