Anze Chen (1933–) is a native of Linying County, Henan Province, and is a researcher and visiting professor. He graduated from the Wuhan Geological School in 1954 and from Beijing Geological Institute in 1961. He was the director of the President Office of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, deputy director of The Geological Museum of China, full-time deputy secretary-general of the Geological Society of China, and the founding president of the China Tourism Earth Science Research Institute. He is currently the vice president of the Chinese Academy of Tourism Earth Science and Geopark Research, the Geological Society of China, the assessor of national geoparks of the Ministry of Land and Resources, the consultant of landscape architecture of the Ministry of Construction (currently the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development), and a visiting professor of the Tourism Institute of Beijing.
