This refers to the content and basic chemistry of various chemical elements related to environmental pollution in different uncontaminated environmental elements, such as the atmosphere, water bodies, rocks, soil, plants, crops, aquatic organisms and human tissues. The composition is also known as the environmental background value. Currently, in the context of global environmental pollution, it is difficult to find background values that are completely free of pollution. Due to the universality of environmental pollution, the environmental background value is a relative concept and can only reflect the normal chemical composition of environmental elements under relatively uncontaminated conditions.
