Printed Popular Science Publications

These publications are basic materials used by geoparks to promote geosciences. Printed, hard copy materials and publications can be in the form of books, pamphlets, brochures, and maps that introduce the geology, landscape, ecology, culture and history of the geopark and the surrounding areas. They are normally available at the geopark visitor or information centres or at the travel information kiosks of major airports and railway and bus stations. The language used to introduce these natural and human stories is simple and easily understandable, and the publications include colourful pictures, diagrams, pictures and maps for people from all walks of life. They also contain website addresses and QR codes for further details and information if needed by tourists, students and the public.
