This book was written by Anze Chen, Yunting Lu and Young Ng and was published by Springer and Science Press Beijing in 2015. It was an English version of the book ‘An Introduction to Tourism Earth Science’, which was originally edited by Anze Chen and Yunting Lu and was published by Peking University Press in 1991. The book updated the contents of the original Chinese version and added several chapters covering geological heritage, geological conservation and geoparks. It is a useful book for non-Chinese readers to better understand the early and latest concepts of geotourism and tourism science being practised in China.
