Loud Sand

Loud sand is also called ‘singing sand’. This is a natural phenomenon where dry loose sand, in a specific natural environment, generates sound, or when the sound sound is caused by an external force. This phenomenon often occurs in sand dunes along lakes, ocean coasts and large deserts.
