This park is located in Dajinzi Town, Linxi County, northern Chifeng City, and it covers an area of 2.5 km2. It was designated as a national mining park in 2010. The park consists of ancient copper ore sites dating to more than 2,800 years ago and modern mines. It is divided into four scenic areas: a mining heritage scenic area, modern production scenic area, mining culture scenic area, and ecological experience area. With rich and representative mining heritage, the park is the largest and earliest copper mine in northern China, where the complete processes of large-scale mining, smelting and casting can be found.
