Liaoyuan National Mining Park, Jilin

This park is located in Liaoyuan City in south-central Jilin Province and covers an area of 120 km2. It was designated as a national mining park in 2010. The coal resources in Liaoyuan have been exploited since 1911. Large amounts of mining geological heritage, mining production heritage, mining product remains, mining social life heritage, mining development literature and historical records as well as natural and human landscape resources can be found in the park.
