Kleine inhabergeführte Läden waren, sind und bleiben wichtige Ankerpunkte im Quartier. Auch wenn sie nicht mehr die Einzelhandelslandschaft dominieren, bleiben Sie wichtige Orte der Begegnung und des sozialen Austauschs. Neue Formen wie Spätshops oder Nachbarschaftsläden suchen Ähnlichkeiten zum früheren Tante Emma-Laden. Ein Blick in die Geschichte zeigt allerdings, dass Imagination und Wirklichkeit voneinander abweichen.
