Zusammenfassung
Evidenzbasierte Gesundheitsinformationen unterstützen Bürger und Patienten dabei, in Gesundheitsfragen Entscheidungen zu treffen, die im Einklang mit ihren persönlichen Vorstellungen, Zielen und Erwartungen sind. Neben der Wissensvermittlung besteht ein Hauptziel darin, realistische Erwartungen über den Nutzen und Schaden von gesundheitsbezogenen Interventionen zu vermitteln. Dies setzt voraus, dass die Inhalte relevant, möglichst vollständig und wissenschaftlich fundiert sind. Ferner sollten die Inhalte gut dargestellt und vermittelt werden. Methodische Grundlage hierfür liefern Methoden der klinischen Epidemiologie, Risikokommunikationsforschung und der Bürger- und Patienteneinbindung. Die Anforderungen an evidenzbasierte Gesundheitsinformationen sollten ganz besonders auch bei Informationen zu präventiven Maßnahmen erfüllt werden – denn diese richten sich an Menschen, die frei von Beschwerden sind und diese oftmals gar nicht von selbst nachfragen oder ohne entsprechende gesellschaftliche Trends nachfragen würden.
