Schwangerschaften nach assistierter Reproduktion

Zusammenfassung

Etwa 3 % der in Deutschland geborenen Kinder werden nach assistierter Reproduktion (ART) geboren. Berücksichtigt man auch Kinder nach Clomifenstimulation, ovarieller Stimulation oder Inseminationsbehandlung, liegt der Anteil bei wahrscheinlich 5–8 %. Nach wie vor liegt das größte Risiko für die Kinder und Mütter nach ART im Eintritt einer Mehrlingsschwangerschaft. Allerdings finden sich auch bei Einlingsschwangerschaften nach ART häufiger Schwangerschaftskomplikationen oder neonatale Probleme.
