FormalPara Synthese – Verteilung – Abbau – EliminationVerabreicht wird Mycophenolatmofetil (Morpholinoethylester der Mycophenolsäure), das zur immunsuppressiv wirksamen Mycophenolsäure gespalten wird.
FormalPara Funktion – PathophysiologieDie Immunsuppression wird erreicht durch die Hemmung der Inosinmonophosphat-Dehydrogenase mit verminderter Synthese von Guaninnukleotiden. Diese führt zu einer antiproliferativen Wirkung auf aktivierte Lymphozyten.
