Das Karpaltunnelsyndrom ist das häufigste Nervenkompressionssyndrom in der westlichen Welt. Schädigungen der Armnerven resultieren aus äußeren Verletzungen, treten aber auch bei entzündlichen, ischämischen und tumorösen Affektionen auf.
