Familien mit getrennten Eltern

Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Beitrag nimmt die mit einer Trennung der Eltern verbundenen Veränderungen der Eltern-Kind-Beziehungen und Folgen für die Entwicklung der Kinder in den Fokus. Wir skizzieren den Wandel der Stabilität von Paarbeziehungen und zentrale Perspektiven der Forschung zu Trennungsfolgen für Kinder und Jugendliche. Mit Blick auf Faktoren, die im Kontext einer Trennung besonders relevant für das Wohlergehen der Kinder sind, werden Konflikt und Kooperation der Eltern sowie die Beziehung zwischen dem Kind und dem getrenntlebenden Elternteil behandelt. Das Fazit verweist auf Unterstützungsangebote für Trennungsfamilien.
