Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag überprüft die Relationen von Innovation und Reparatur auf fruchtbare Überschneidungen für die Analyse von Prozessen sozialen Wandels. Unter Rückgriff auf die Wissenschafts- und Technikforschung sowie auf die Innovationsforschung werden aktuelle Entwicklungen nachgezeichnet und in Beziehung gesetzt. Dabei wird geschaut, ob und wie die stärkere Aufnahme einer soziologischen Reparaturperspektive zu einer empirischen Erweiterung und analytischen Schärfung der Innovationsforschung beitragen kann. Mit Blick auf Prozesse sozialen Wandels wird zudem ein Verständnis von sozialen Innovationen als Reparaturinnovationen entworfen, das beispielhaft nachgezeichnet wird.
