Abstract
Parasitic infections in cancer patients have become a major concern in the last couple of years. Most infections are asymptomatic, but when a patient is undergoing chemotherapy, these infections could be fatal. Screening is becoming an obligation before starting therapy but is important to know about the most prevalent parasites, their clinical manifestations, diagnostics, and treatment. In this chapter, we will address the most common parasitic infections found in cancer patients.
