Definition

From a broader perspective, the concept of work-life balance is described as the ability of the individual to meet the demands of both work and non-work life adequately. According to Davis and Tuttle (2017), “the concept of work-life balance reflects an individual’s simultaneous engagement with work and non-work social roles, taking into account the relationships with other social actors implicated in work and non-work (usually family) life.”
