Abstract

Key developments in attitudes, competencies, and dispositions for teaching and learning with information technology are presented through seven chapters in this section and described in this overview. The perspective of the teacher is the focus of several chapters, with the understanding that enhanced learning by the student is the end goal. Developments that have evolved since the printing of the first edition of this handbook are the focus of the section. These are featured in the write-ups for each chapter provided in this overview.
