Abstract
This chapter traces key events that led to the internationalization of the Kosovo War in the 1990s and examines major peacemaking efforts between Kosovo and Serbia: the Rambouillet peace conference in the beginning of 1999, the Vienna talks on the future status of Kosovo from 2006 until 2007, and the Brussels Dialogue for normalization of relations facilitated by the European Union (EU) since 2011.
