Radioligand binding assays and quantitative autoradiography of endothelin receptors

Abstract
Endothelin (ET) receptors belong to the G-protein-linked seven transmembrane spanning family of receptors, located in the plasma membrane. Receptors can be identified by their amino acid structure and provide unambiguous evidence for expression of a gene encoding a particular sub-type in specific cells or tissues (see Chapter 6).
