Abstract
Current limitations to the use of Moloney murine leukemia virus (MoMLV)-derived retroviral vectors as a tool for gene transfer include the inability to obtain high-titer vector stocks and the narrow host cell range of these vectors. To overcome these disadvantages, we developed a new class of pantropic retroviral vector that has a broadened host cell range and can be concentrated to very high titers (>109 colony forming units [CFU]/mL) (1)
