Abstract

Antibodies directed against mucin epitopes have a wide number of uses, including the construction of immunoassays for measuring secretion (1), preparing immunoprecipitates for measuring radioisotope incorporation (2), for use in tissue and cellular immunocytochemistry (1,3), for characterizing mucin subdomains (4), as markers of malignancy (5), and for the screening of cDNA expression libraries (6).
