Abstract
DNA fingerprinting analysis has been proved to be a useful tool for crime scene investigation to aid the criminal justice system. With wide media coverage and many high-profile cases solved by DNA technology, it has become familiar among the common people and the awareness to this technology is increasing day by day. The technology not only is helpful in increasing the rate of conviction but also plays an important role in exonerating the innocence.
