Retraction Note to: Chapter “EuroFlow-Based Next-Generation Flow Cytometry for Detection of Circulating Tumor Cells and Minimal Residual Disease in Multiple Myeloma” in: Christoph Heuck and Niels Weinhold (eds.), Multiple Myeloma: Methods and Protocols, Methods in Molecular Biology, vol. 1792,  https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4939-7865-6_2

The chapter published in the book ‘Multiple Myeloma’, pages 15-34,  https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4939-7865-6_2 has been retracted due to the following reasons:
  • The authors have used the EuroFlow methods for many years (EuroFlow membership since 2013) and have built extensive experience with the application of these methods, they did not contribute to the design and standardization of the EuroFlow methods. Other members of the EuroFlow consortium have developed and standardized the methods and tools over a period of more than 6 years (2006-2012). These EuroFlow members have not been informed about the writing of the book chapter and have not been acknowledged as the original designers of the presented methods.

  • The authors used EuroFlow proprietary information and figures without asking permission and without appropriate reference to the relevant EuroFlow publications or EuroFlow website documents.

The authors deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the retraction.
