Abstract

Neurotoxicity biomarker concept implying NR2 peptide and antibodies is presented in experimental models of transient cerebral ischemia and intracerebral hematoma. Various platforms of NR2 peptide and antibodies assays are developed to improve diagnostic certainty of cerebral ischemia. The assay bench testing results and methods are described. There are automatic analyzer, ELISA, and point-of-care tests discussed for laboratory and bedside applications.
