MRS Advances - Call for Papers for Advanced Characterization of Materials Dynamics
Advances in electron microscopy, synchrotron X-ray techniques, and data science have enabled the study of materials and materials dynamics with unprecedented temporal and spatial resolution. In-situ and time-resolved capabilities have enhanced the understanding of materials such as catalysts, batteries, and quantum materials, giving insight into the chemical, structural, and quantum ordering evolution of materials. This issue highlights the latest advances in characterizing materials dynamics by focusing on developments in electron microscopy, synchrotron X-ray techniques, and data science. The goal is to share advances of materials toward a microscopic understanding of the underlying mechanism for designing next-generation materials with revolutionary functionalities.
