Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics
The Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics (SJES) is blind peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. SJES publishes theoretical and empirical contributions to any field of economics. The journal was founded in 1867 and is owned and financed by the Swiss Society of Economics and Statistics.
Owned and financed by the Swiss Society of Economics and Statistics, SJES is committed to a high quality, efficient review process with a first round response time of typically less than two months.
SJES is particularly interested in work of some relevance for economic policy in Switzerland, or in countries with similar economic and political settings, e.g. small open economies with independent monetary policy, or international financial centers, or federalist public finance, etc. SJES particularly welcomes contributions from early-career researchers
