Journal of the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics - Call for Papers: Special Issue on Recent Advances in Statistical Modeling for Complex Biomedical Endpoints: Methodology & Applications

We invite submissions to the special issue of the Journal of the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics, dedicated to recent advances and innovation in statistical modeling for complex biomedical endpoints, from both methodological and application perspectives.

Biomedical studies and clinical trials generate data with complex endpoints, often requiring statistical modeling that is innovative and flexible for the objective quantification of the disease status, progression, and efficacy of any clinical intervention. In this special issue, we are interested in showcasing such recent methodological advances with proper theoretical support. Consequently, we are also interested in highlighting the innovative use of existing methodologies to obtain credible inference from these datasets. Manuscripts, with a significant focus on computational advancements, are also within the scope. We expect contributions where the inferential framework spans frequentist, Bayesian and any hybrid domain. A central feature of this Special Issue is research reproducibility and effective dissemination; along with each submission, we expect the corresponding computer codes to be made available via a GitHub repository during the review process, to be eventually shared with the publication.

All manuscripts submitted to this Special Issue will undergo the standard peer review process of the journal.

Important Date:

Submission Deadline: November 01, 2023
