Overview

Please note this journal’s peer review system has changed, it now uses Snapp (Springer Nature’s Article Processing Platform). See the journal updates page for more information.

Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems (QTDS) publishes high-quality peer-reviewed research articles on the theory and applications of discrete and continuous dynamical systems. The journal addresses mathematicians as well as engineers, physicists, and other scientists who use dynamical systems as valuable research tools. The journal is not interested in numerical results, except if these illustrate theoretical results previously proved.

  • Guidance on the use of LLM like ChatGPT

Large Language Models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, do not currently satisfy our authorship criteria. Notably an attribution of authorship carries with it accountability for the work, which cannot be effectively applied to LLMs. Use of an LLM should be properly documented in the Methods section (and if a Methods section is not available, in a suitable alternative part) of the manuscript.
