Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica - Call for Papers: Special Issue on Mechanics of Batteries and Fuel Cells
This special issue is dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in research on the mechanics of batteries and fuel cells, technologies at the forefront of the transition toward a cleaner, more sustainable future. As we push the boundaries of efficiency and reliability in battery and fuel cell technologies, the role of mechanics and its interdisciplinary connections becomes increasingly critical. This calls for the development of new theories, computational models, and characterization techniques, along with their integration, to spearhead innovations in this field. Contributions to this special issue not only advance the frontier of applied mechanics but also pave the way for next-generation energy conversion and storage systems with improved performance.
Topics of interest to be included in the special issue include, but are not limited to:
- Novel characterization techniques across various scales
- Multi-physical and multi-scale theories and simulations
- Mechanics-informed designs and optimizations
