Abstract

Can moral philosophy deal adequately with risk and uncertainty? Since only a few attempts have been made to apply moral theories systematically to risk and uncertainty we do not have an extensive catalogue of previous such applications to evaluate. Instead, we will have to investigate the potential capacities of moral theories to solve problems involving risk and uncertainty.
