Abstract

This workshop was created to give students a chance to use newspapers and dialogue, combined with their dramatic skills, in a formal reading and writing context. When I found out that most of my pre-service teachers did not receive orread the daily newspapers, in hard copy or on the internet, I decided to integrate the use of newspapers into my literacy workshop.
