Abstract

The present chapter concerns the one-dimensional displacement of anomalous oil by hot water in the model of two-phase non-isothermal flow of immiscible liquids through porous media [12]. When non-linearity is taken into account, as was shown in 1.10, the fractional flow function depends on the displacement rate. In the large, therefore, the system of equations of two-phase non-isothermal displacement (1.13), (5.23) reduces to the hyperbolic system (5.29), (5.30) for the displacement of oil by chemical solutions, with source-sink right—hand side (5.51), where the sink represents the heat losses to surrounding formations.
