Zusammenfassung

Akute Leukämien sind maligne Erkrankungen hämatopoetischer Stammzellen, die bei erhaltener Teilungsfähigkeit mit einem teilweisen oder völligem Verlust der Fähigkeit zur Ausdifferenzierung zu reifen Funktionszellen verbunden sind. Je nach betroffener hämatopoetischer Zellreihe wird zwischen den beiden Hauptformen der akuten lymphatischen und der akuten myeloischen Leukämie unterschieden.
