Abstract
We learn in school that a rational number r is a number of the form \(r = \frac{p}{q} = p/q\), where p and q are integers with q≠ 0. Such numbers are also refereed to as fractions or ratios or quotients. We call p the numerator and q the denominator of the fraction or ratio.
The chief aim of all investigations of the external world should be to discover the rational order and harmony which has been imposed on it by God and which He revealed to us in the language of mathematics.
