Zusammenfassung
Testes und Ovarien. Die Entwicklung der Keimdrüsen ist eng mit der Ausbüdung des Exkretionsapparates verbunden (vgl. dort). In der 4. Entwicklungswoche entsteht an der medialen Fläche der leistenartig in die Bauchhöhle vorspringenden Urniere das Keimdrüsenfeld, in dem sich embryonales Bindegewebe als selbständiger Wulst abhebt. Diese symmetrischen Zellgruppen steUen undifferenzierte Urgeschlechts-zellen dar, die sich in der 6. Entwicklungswoche zu geschlechtsspezifischen Zellen differenzieren. Noch während des geschlechtlich indifferenten Stadiums, in der 5. Woche, entstehen medial der Urniere paarige Längswülste, deren laterale meta-mere Anlagen ein schlauchartiges Lumen büden und zum Wolffschen Gang werden. Dieser Wolffsche Gang gewinnt im cranialen Anteil durch sprossende Kanälchen Verbindung zur primären Keimdrüse und münder caudal in den Urogenitalsinus (Vgl. Abb. 544).
