Abstract
In the United Kingdom some wit who wishes to remain anonymous has coined the expression “YAPI”, which stands for “yet another prognostic indicator”. I am sure that many share my irritation when reading countless papers claiming yet another prognostic indicator, whilst people have completely lost sight of the appropriate use and the frequent abuse of these tests.
