Abstract

In this and the following chapters details of the various methods are presented, which did not make their way into the early chapters in order not to undermine their readability. In particular, the present chapter elaborates on calculational and numerical aspects of the standard ASW method affecting, e.g., the densities of states and the intraatomic wave functions. Nevertheless, these issues are of importance for all ASW methods presented in this book.
