Abstract

The security of the road is directly related with the oil production in oil field. The oil field roads in the North of Shaanxi have both characters of loess and mountainous areas. Segments of these roads usually pose serious threats to vehicles for its continuous zigzags, low-lying, steep slopes, cliffs etc. Upon the field road and risky point survey, this article synthetically exerts the advanced 3S spatial technology, computer information system and also the theory on road safety evaluation. A spatial technique which is called “Oil field road general evaluation method based on risk point grade value” was described in this article, which emphasized the importance of the risk sources along the road, and along with the technique, an exploration on the oil field road safety quantificational evaluation had been made.
